Susceptibility of chrysanthemum cultivars to Puccinia horiana

The susceptibility of 50 chrysanthemum cultivars to Puccinia horiana was rated. The results served to divide the tested cultivars into 6 groups. Immune - lack of disease symptoms was found in the following cultivars: Ozenda White, Pesaro White, Pidoul, Tasman, Tom Pearce and Veria Dark. As many as 28 cvs were in the resistant group. The most susceptible appeared to be: Bislet, Dream Tim, Ellen van Langen, Fiji Yellow, Eskort Red, Severine, Snowdon White, Success, Stallion and Vyking.
