The regeneration capacity of leaf explants of the Common Prune Plum, cultivar Węgierka Zwykła cultured in vitro was tested on modified MS nutrient solutions supplemented with TDZ and three alternative auxins at different concentrations. The most favourable medium consisted of 1.65 mg/l TDZ and 0.2 mg/l 2, 4-D. There were no significant differences among the regeneration potentials of media containing TDZ and IBA in various concentrations.
