Insects occurring on celery grown for seeds

The species composition of insects occurring on celery cultures and their
feeding habits were studied. Orthops kalmi L. and O. campestris
L. (Heteroptera, Miridae) as well as Cavariella aegopodii
(Scop.) and Myzus persicae Sulz. (Homoptera, Aphididae)
were found to be of economic importance to celery.
