Effect of dikegulac on branching of Pachypodium lamerei

Pachypodium lamerei was sprayed once with dikegulac (Atrinal) to promote branching. Spraying with 1750-2500 mg dikegulac l-1 resulted in 6-8 branches per plant, compared with lopped off plants which had 3-4 branches. Dikegulac at the above-mentioned range of concentration did not inhibit plant growth.
